ENG 120: Information Literacy

Purpose: To help students become self-aware learners and engage in independent inquiry and sustained, reflective thought

English 120 Research Refresher with smartphones and tablets

The Library is offering English 120 Refresher sessions.

This will not be a standard session: instead of showing your students how to use desktop-based tools, our Web Service Librarian Stefanie Havelka will show your students how to use mobile devices (such as smartphones and iPads) to conduct research.

Your students will learn to do their research on the go! Stefanie Havelka, will either come to your class or you will come to the library.

The workshops will be a 30- 45-minute refresher for your English 120 class. (If you want, the classes can be longer too).

If you're interested in our "Research Refresher with Smartphones!" session, please contact Robert Farrell at Robert.Farrell@lehman.cuny.edu

or Stefanie Havelka at Stefanie.Havelka@lehman.cuny.edu.
