The Bloomberg terminal is a premier international financial services database providing news and analytics for over 129 countries and 250 exchanges. Features include 24-hour historical and 15-minute delayed securities pricing in addition to news, data, and analysis on companies, markets and economies. Lehman College has introduced a Bloomberg Lab, housed in Room 226A in the Leonard Lief Library.
Usage Policy: Only current students, staff, or faculty can use the Bloomberg Professional terminals. Each user is limited to 2 hours a day, and priority is given to students and faculty of the Economics & Business Department.
HOW DO I ACCESS BMC in the Bloomberg Lab?
1. Log into Bloomberg terminal and click on the Bloomberg Icon
2. Run the function BCER
3. Click Sign Up and create a BMC account using your university email.
4. If you are taking BMC as part of a class or group, please check the box found under the password field.
5. Enter the group code provided by your professor if applicable and click OK.
6. Check the box to confirm that you have read and agree to the Terms of Service.
7. Click Sign Up.
8. Check your University email address, as you will be receiving a confirmation with instructions and a link to activate your account. Click on the Activate my account link.

The Bloomberg Open Lab will be open M,T,W,Th, Fridays and Saturdays from January 25-May 25, on days that the Library is open.

3:00pm-5:00pm
Standard Hours on Saturdays:

The Bloomberg Terminals are designated for current Lehman students, faculty, and staff conducting research specifically utilizing the Bloomberg resource. Please check the online calendar re opening days and hours. Courses taught in the Lab take precedence over Open Lab times.
