Welcome

undefinedLehman College has identified information literacy as being an important component of your college education. Information Literacy has been defined as the ability to know when there is a need for information, to be able to identify, locate, evaluate, and effectively and responsibly use and share that information for the problem at hand.

To help enhance your information literacy skills, the Leonard Lief Library has created a series of four instructional videos located in a Blackboard course. Each video is about 10 minutes long and asks you a series of questions about the material presented as you as you move along. At the conclusion of the last video, you will be asked to take a short quiz.

These tutorials were developed by Jennifer Poggiali in 2018, and have been integrated with several courses since that time.
