Human Book Experiences

I was looking forward to sharing my story, but I wasn’t sure how the experience was going to be. It turned out better than I could’ve expected. I found that some of the readers were really inspired and touched by my story, so much so that a couple of them actually became very emotional. And I was honored that they felt they could share something very personal about themselves, their experiences, and how they could relate to mine. I am so glad I did this. I would do it again. ► "Grief, I’ve learned, is really love. It’s all the love you want to give but cannot give. The more you loved someone, the more you grieve. All of that unspent love gathers up in the corners of your eyes and in that part of your chest that gets empty and hollow feeling. The happiness of love turns to sadness when unspent. Grief is just love with no place to go."  Jamie Anderson, Blogger  [Quote cited by Human Book, Fall 2018]
