Two library systems for HSAS students

HSAS students have access to two library systems: the New York Public Library and the Lehman College Library.

New York Public Library provides electronic resources online from anywhere as well as onsite resources in library locations. Requires a NYPL card and PIN.

Lehman College Library offers:

  • An inviting array of study spaces and computers (requires an HSAS ID to enter)
  • 370,000 physical books HSAS students can check out (requires an HSAS ID plus library registration)
  • Research and technology help from librarians and IT staff
  • Electronic resources HSAS students can access on the library premises

The Leonard Lief Library

The Leonard Lief Library (Lief is pronounced "leaf") on the Lehman College campus is a spacious, well-equipped home base for research and study.

HSAS students may use this library until 8 p.m. on week nights.

During school hours, students may come to the library during their lunch period.

Visit the Lehman Library Website for its current hours.
