How to Use Interlibrary Loan

ILLiad and Requesting Items with Interlibrary Loan

On occasion search results contain some articles that only have citations and abstracts.  "FIND-IT!" or External Link generates a search on all subscription databases at Lehman to locate the FULL TEXT of these articles.

ILLiad is the online interlibrary loan service for journal articles and books outside of the CUNY and SUNY systems.

ILLiad Form - Interlibrary Loan Article Request

Interlibrary Loan - Books

Change the setting in OneSearch to "Lehman + CUNY" or "SUNY Libraries" and search for the book. If the book is not available at any CUNY or SUNY Library, fill out the ILLiad form with all the information you know about the book. You might check the WorldCat database to find libraries that own the book.

Also, search Google Books to see if all or part of the book is online.
