Lehman community – The Library is excited to introduce an expanded online research guide – Diversity Equity and Inclusion eBooks and films: A CUNY Anti-Hate Initiative – a powerful teaching and learning resource that reflects Lehman’s commitment to transformative education and social justice.

Compiled and maintained by Electronic Resources Librarian Michelle Ehrenpreis – this curated collection of eBooks, streaming films, and community resources focuses on topics including Islamophobia, combating antisemitism, Latinx voices, and LGBTQ+ viewpoints.

Whether you are a faculty member looking to enhance your curriculum or research agenda, a staff member seeking to collaborate with a local organization, or a student eager to learn more about global collective action – this guide is for you.

We invite you to explore these materials and join us in nurturing a campus culture rooted in critical literacy, cultural inclusion, and empathy.

This guide has been developed with support of SEEDS of Change Initiative of the Division of Student Affairs –funded by CUNY Central’s Anti-Hate Initiative and Lehman College’s Office of the Provost.

Thank you,

Jaye Jones, PhD

Director, Student Support Services Programs

Division of Student Affairs – Shuster 204
