A Human Book is a person who has volunteered to challenge prejudice through respectful conversation with members of the public who "borrow" them to hear their stories. They will have a title that relates to their experience of prejudice and/or discrimination.
Note: When a question is too personal or private, you can say, "That chapter hasn't been written/published yet, but I'd like to hear your next question."
Orientation: Human Book volunteers are invited to attend an orientation to gauge your interest and learn more about the Human Library®. Please stop by at your convenience: anytime between 12pm-3pm, on October 4, 2018, at the Library Room 218.
