Search the CUNY online catalog to find books, multimedia materials, and other resources.
Step 1: On the library's home page, enter keywords into the "OneSearch" search box.
Step 2: Evaluate results and click on "Lehman College" under "Holdings" to get the book's call number.
Step 3. Note the Location, Call number, and Due date to determine if the book is on the shelf. Proceed to location to retrieve the book.
Step 4. For more advanced searching, use the guided search boxes to combine your key words.

1. Look for keywords in the subject headings of records in the library catalog or databases.
2. When searching for articles, browse the abstracts for keywords you may not have thought of.
3. Generate a list of synonyms: disease, illness, sickness, etc.
4. Think about how different kinds of professionals describe the same thing.
