Call Numbers for Anthropology

Using CLICS

Books that are not available in the Lehman library can be requested from another CUNY school. This service is called CLICS (CUNY Libraries Inter Campus Service). The video below will explain how to use it to have books sent to this library for you to pick up.

Interlibrary Loan (ILL)

Graduate students and faculty may use CUNY's Interlibrary Loan (ILL) service called ILLiad.

  1. Use ILL to request books & articles unavailable via CUNY+ / CLICS.
  2. If WorldCat indicates CUNY copies, request through CUNY+ / CLICS.
  3. Use FIND IT from WorldCat to request any non-CUNY book with auto-fill form via ILL.
  4. If all CUNY book copies are checked out, on reserve, or unavailable, request via ILL with note.
  5. Include ISBN for fastest ILL delivery.
  6. ILL & WorldCat are available for off-campus research.
