John Bertles 
Educator, Composer, Instrument Builder

In a dynamic, interactive presentation, John Bertles informs audiences about recycling, repurposing materials, as well as creating musical and scientific knowledge for Common Core standards.

Since 1988 John Bertles has served in arts education as teaching artist, administrator, and consultant. As a composer, he adapts combinations of traditional and world instruments, along with his own invented musical instruments. His new CD, Think Big, will be released in Spring 2014.
