Library Resources for Faculty

Interlibrary Loan (ILL)

All faculty, staff, undergraduate, and graduate students may benefit from CUNY's intercampus borrowing program, called CLICS.

Faculty, staff, graduate students, and students have the additional benefit of Interlibrary Loan (ILL), called ILLiad, which allows borrowing from libraries outside of CUNY. Please note that undergraduates may not request books through Interlibrary Loan.

  1. Use ILL to request books & articles unavailable via CUNY+ / CLICS.
  2. If WorldCat indicates CUNY ownes copies, request through CUNY+ / CLICS.
  3. Use FIND IT from WorldCat to request any non-CUNY book with auto-fill form via ILL.
  4. If all CUNY book copies are checked out, on reserve, or unavailable, request via ILL with note.
  5. Include ISBN for fastest ILL delivery.
  6. ILL & WorldCat are available for off-campus research.
