ENW 300. Business Writing, Professor James Anderson: Business Plan Links

Instructions

United States Census

Your research will need to collect key demographic information about a specific neighborhood where you will locate your business. This is mandatory whether you plan on starting/researching a brick-and-mortar or online business.

Step one is finding a specific town or neighborhood. Use this link to access a search page. You’ll need either the name of a location (a town) or one or more zip codes for neighborhoods in a larger jurisdiction such as a city or borough (e.g. Kingsbridge, Washington Heights, the Bronx).

This link opens onto the zip code 10468. Before you enter your chosen location, take a brief amount of time to investigate the information that is available. Once you have a better idea, input your target location.
