Tips for finding the right search terms

1. Look for keywords in the subject headings of records in the library catalog or databases.

2. When searching for articles, browse the abstracts for keywords you may not have thought of.

3. Generate a list of synonyms: disease, illness, sickness, etc.

4. Think about how different kinds of professionals describe the same thing.
