Reopening of the Bloomberg Lab at Lehman College’s School of Business on Monday, September 15, 2025.

Located on the second floor of the Leonard Lief Library (Room 226A), the Bloomberg Lab is a state-of-the-art facility that provides our students, faculty, and staff with direct access to Bloomberg Terminals—the same powerful platform used by finance professionals around the world.

Through the Bloomberg Lab, you and the students can:

  • Conduct real-time research on global markets, companies, and economic trends
  • Gain hands-on experience with the tools that drive decision-making in finance, business, and policy
  • Complete certifications such as Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC), ESG Investing, and Bloomberg Finance Fundamentals (BFF)—all free for Lehman students. Upon successful completion of these three certifications, you will be eligible to add two liberal arts credits to your transcript at no cost.

The Bloomberg Lab will offer open lab hours throughout the semester, giving students direct access to the terminals to complete their certifications and practice their skills.

The Lab is open to all members of the Lehman community, regardless of major or discipline. Whether you or your students are pursuing studies in business, economics, the social sciences, or other fields, the Lab offers valuable opportunities to build critical skills in data analysis, research, and problem-solving.
