It is useful to post links to Library Research Guides, e-books, books in the library catalog, and journal articles on BlackBoard.

Below are instructions for posting links to these materials in compliance with copyright law.

Research Guides are available on a wide variety of Subjects and for specific Courses.

The link to each Guide can be found in your browser's address bar when you open the Guide:


Links to Research Guides do not need a login.

Linking to Library E-Resources in BlackBoard

Library resources can be one way to lower textbook costs for students. They are high-quality resources that students already pay to access through their tuition and fees. This Research Guide explores ways that faculty can link to library content as course materials--and be compliant with copyright and licensing requirements.

Uploading PDF's

Be sure to consult the Library’s Copyright Guidelines and post reserves appropriately.

Select the appropriate Blackboard course from your list.
Click the Control Panel.
Select Course Documents from the Content Areas panel.
Follow the prompts to upload your documents.
