Middle and High School Education - English Education

EdTA operates the International Thespian Society (ITS), an honorary organization that has inducted more than two million theatre students since its founding in 1929. EdTA also publishes Dramatics, a monthly magazine for high school theatre students, and Teaching Theatre, a quarterly journal for theatre education professionals.

International Literacy Association (ILA) publishes cutting-edge research; sets standards for literacy professionals and teacher education programs; appreciates educators through awards and grants; and advocates for funding and policies supporting the literacy needs of school systems, teachers, and students across the globe.

The Journalism Education Association is the largest scholastic journalism organization for teachers and advisers. In addition to professional development and publishing activities, they monitor and actively defend First Amendment and scholastic press rights issues across the country.

Founded in 1883, the Modern Language Association of America provides opportunities for its members to share their scholarly findings and teaching experiences with colleagues and to discuss trends in the academy.
