INSTRUCTIONS HAVE CHANGED: Temporary Online Booking Guidelines and Bloomberg Terminal Policies

The Bloomberg Terminal is designated for current Lehman students, faculty, and staff conducting research specifically utilizing the Bloomberg resource or Certification module.

Guidelines for Online Room Use. 


  1. Use LibCal (in the box below, to the right) to schedule up to 90 minutes in any one day online. 
  2. Please respect Scheduling period designated uses
  3. Enter Appointments promptly to avoid conflicts
  4. Online Room may be scheduled for half an hour periods (90 minute limit per day)
  5. Students and Faculty registering for research use may consult Business Librarian, Martha Lerski, x7763, who can assist if feasible.

TO LOG IN , OR CREATE A LOG IN TO THE Bloomberg terminal:

2.  Click the button: RESERVE BLOOMBERG TERMINAL for Bloomberg Certification Work by clicking on the blue Book the Bloomberg Terminal button on the right hand side of this page.  Select and schedule times for today or future dates, up to 90 minutes in one day. 

3.  Follow these steps, in this order, to use the online/remote Bloomberg Terminal:

3.  In the online setting, you will need to get a verification code each time that you sign onYou must use your Lehman email when setting up your account, to verify that you are a part of the Lehman community.  If you are having difficulty with your Lehman email, contact: or call 718-960-1111

Logging In to a Terminal Remotely:

 4. Navigate to .  Download citrix.  Call  212.318.2000 to get an activation code sent to your email, text or phone number.  Indicate your :Lehman email username.

5: Verify identity with a code sent to the enrolled student email or mobile device. If this information is not already on file with Bloomberg, contact customer support: 

6.  Enter personal Bloomberg username and password NOTE: Bloomberg Terminal credentials should be used. BMC credentials are NOT valid here.

What is Bloomberg?

The Bloomberg terminal is a premier international financial services database providing news and analytics for over 129 countries and 250 exchanges. Features include 24-hour historical and 15-minute delayed securities pricing in addition to news, data, and analysis on companies, markets and economies. Lehman College has introduced one Bloomberg Terminal, housed in the Leonard Lief Library, commencing Spring Term 2018.

Usage Policy: Only current students, staff, or faculty can use the Bloomberg Professional terminals. Each user is limited to 90 minutes, and priority is given to students and faculty of the Economics & Business Department.

Location & Reservation information: There is one Bloomberg Professional terminal available to the  Lehman community.  You must reserve a time slot online and then follow the instructions for logging in.
