The Bloomberg terminal is a premier international financial services database providing news and analytics for over 129 countries and 250 exchanges. Features include 24-hour historical and 15-minute delayed securities pricing in addition to news, data, and analysis on companies, markets and economies. Lehman College has introduced one Bloomberg Terminal, housed in the Leonard Lief Library, commencing Spring Term 2018.
Usage Policy: Only current students, staff, or faculty can use the Bloomberg Professional terminals. Each user is limited to 90 minutes, and priority is given to students and faculty of the Economics & Business Department.
Location & Reservation information: There is one Bloomberg Professional terminal available to the Lehman community. You must reserve a time slot online and then follow the instructions for logging in.
The Bloomberg Terminal is designated for current Lehman students, faculty, and staff conducting research specifically utilizing the Bloomberg resource or Certification module.

YOU MUST FIRST ASK YOUR PROFESSOR TO ACTIVATE YOUR ACCESS TO THE BLOOMBERG TERMINAL in addition to getting a course code to gain credit for the BMC course.
Scheduling
TO LOG IN , OR CREATE A LOG IN TO THE Bloomberg terminal:
I.Click on the Bloomberg Research Guide:

II.Click the button: RESERVE BLOOMBERG TERMINAL for Bloomberg Certification Work by clicking on the blue Book the Bloomberg Terminal button on the right hand side of this page. Select and schedule times for today or future dates, up to 90 minutes in one day.
III.Follow these steps, in this order, to use the online/remote Bloomberg Terminal:
A. LOGIN INSTRUCTIONS for students WITHOUT a Bloomberg Terminal login:
https://portal.bloombergforeducation.com/register and select Sign up as a Learner button
4. Students wishing to access the terminal for research, not for the BMC course, click the Terminal Access Tab.
5. Create a Bloomberg Terminal Login by navigating to the Terminal Access Tab and follow the account creation wizard to create a BMC login.
6. Once your Terminal account has been created, follow the instructions in the section B titled Login Instructions for students WHO ALREADY HAVE a Bloomberg Terminal login.
