Workshop Objectives

Welcome to the Leonard Lief Library at Lehman College. Much of your graduate work will require you to use the resources we subscribe to and this workshop is meant to give you a head start. This guide will provide you an overview of the following topics:

1. How to find articles using the library's databases

2. How to determine the best search terms for getting the result you want

3. How to use the bibliographies in articles to track down sources you may not otherwise find.

4. How to use Google Scholar to see what articles cite an article you're interested in.

5. What citation management tools are available to you as a Lehman student.
