Wave Hill Forest Project: Botanical Gardens

Wave Hill

Wave Hill is a 28-acre public garden and cultural center in the Bronx overlooking the Hudson River and Palisades. Its mission is to preserve the magnificent gardens and landscapes, and to explore human connections to the natural world through programs in horticulture, education and the arts.

New York Botanical Garden

A National Historic Landmark, The New York Botanical Garden maintains one of the world’s greatest collections of flora. The Garden is one of the few institutions worldwide with the resources, collections, and expertise to develop the information needed to understand plant evolutionary relationships and manage plant diversity. It also serves as a center for scientific scholarship and as a sponsor of vital field work.
